Asu Almabaev didn’t just bounce back from his only UFC loss at the event in Abu Dhabi — he also significantly boosted his bank account, reports jay.kz.

 

The Kazakh fighter dominated Peruvian opponent Jose Ochoa, winning by unanimous decision. Although "Zulfikar" didn’t receive a bonus from the world’s top MMA promotion, he still walked away with tens of thousands of dollars. According to Sporty Salaries, Almabaev earned $38,000 for showing and another $38,000 for the win. Sponsors also rewarded him with an additional $5,000. At the current exchange rate, that totals around 44 million KZT.
