The capital club didn’t get lucky with its division.
The league has announced the division line-ups for the 2025/2026 season — and Barys’ path hasn’t become any easier, despite Vityaz being removed from the KHL, reports jay.kz.
The Astana-based team remains in the Chernyshev Division. Barys will once again face long road trips across Russia and compete against Avangard, Amur, Admiral, Sibir, and Salavat Yulaev. According to Belarushockey, the removal of Vityaz only affected the Bobrov Division.
