Elena Rybakina completes a comeback in Washington

Elena Rybakina played her first doubles match at the WTA 500 tournament in the USA. Teaming up with Emma Raducanu, the Kazakhstani player advanced to the quarterfinals, reports jay.kz.

The pair endured a tough battle against Tereza Mihalikova and Olivia Nicholls. The match lasted nearly two hours of intense play. Rybakina and Raducanu dropped the first set 2–6, but turned the tide: they took the second set in a tiebreak 7–6 (7–4), and sealed the win in a dramatic super tiebreak — 11–9.
