Carlos Adames cancels fight with Janibek Alimkhanuly

A fight between Janibek Alimkhanuly and Carlos Adames could have actually happened. Promoter Turki Alalshikh made efforts to arrange a unification bout between the champions. However, everything fell through because of the Dominican, reports jay.kz.

 

The Saudi official had prepared a generous offer for both fighters. Alimkhanuly was eager to take the fight, but Adames turned down the big opportunity. Speaking on the YouTube channel Thaboxingvoice, Alalshikh admitted that the Dominican was the main obstacle to making the bout happen.
