Kazakh wrestlers invited to Dagestan

Construction has begun on a large sports complex in the village of Mutsalaul. According to project leader Omaraskhab Akhmedov, the facility is intended to strengthen ties between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Dagestan, reports jay.kz.

 

Akhmedov became known for his assistance during the 2024 floods in Atyrau region, when he delivered 50,000 sacks of materials to reinforce the banks of the Zhaiyk River. Now, the Dagestani philanthropist is building a wrestling hall where athletes from Kazakhstan will be welcomed. Akhmedov hopes that Kazakh athletes will regularly train in Dagestan, which will help foster stronger relations between the two nations, writes Atpress.kz.
