Dana White’s favorite from Kazakhstan makes weight ahead of next Power Slap appearance

Zakir Naimanbayev is ready for the fight
On July 19, Kazakhstan’s heavyweight Zakir Naimanbayev will make his third appearance in the Power Slap league. He has already completed the weigh-in and made weight, jay.kz reports.
Naimanbayev returns to the stage after a controversial disqualification in late June: although he won by knockout, the judges saw a rule violation but did not specify what it was. Initially, the athlete had no plans to fight again so soon, but UFC president Dana White personally persuaded him.
The weigh-in took place on July 18. According to the league’s official website, Naimanbayev weighed in at 264 pounds (119.7 kg). His opponent, Cooper Housley, came in slightly heavier — 266 pounds (around 120 kg).
