Messi’s Favorite Goal Turned into Art and Sold for Millions

The goal became true art
A digital artwork of Lionel Messi’s favorite goal was featured at a Christie’s auction and sold for a staggering sum, reports jay.kz.
The Argentine superstar named his most cherished goal — a header in the 2009 Champions League final against Manchester United. Artist Refik Anadol used AI to transform that iconic moment into a digital artpiece. The work fetched $1.87 million at Christie’s. According to The Athletic, the proceeds will be donated to charity.
While the masterpiece makes its way to the buyer, it’s the perfect time to register on ubet.kz or via the mobile app and join the “National Sports Expert” contest.
Season 2 is just around the corner. The prize pool is ₸80 million, and the grand prize is a Toyota Camry.
