Elena Rybakina Earns Tens of Millions at Washington Tournament: Massive Payout

Elena Rybakina failed to reach the final of the WTA 500 tournament in Washington, suffering a surprising defeat to Canadian Leylah Fernandez with a score of 7–6, 6–7, 6–7, reports jay.kz.

 

Despite the loss, Kazakhstan’s top-ranked player still secured a solid payday. Rybakina reached the semifinals after defeating Victoria Mboko and Magdalena Frech. The tournament’s total prize pool was $1.282 million, and according to the official WTA website, semifinalists received $71,205 each.

 

As a result, Rybakina earned the equivalent of nearly 40 million tenge at the current exchange rate.
